You can delete your BalkanTruck account and its associated data at any time. There are two ways to do it.
Deletion takes effect immediately. Your session ends right away and you can no longer sign in with that account.
If you have already uninstalled the app, or cannot sign in for any reason, email contact@balkantruck.rs from the email address you registered with, with the subject line “Account deletion”.
We will verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days, and confirm by email once it is done. We do not charge for this and we will not ask you to reinstall the app.
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
The account is marked as deleted and cannot be recovered or reactivated.
Content you posted — forum topics, posts and comments, poll responses, and public chat messages — is not removed automatically, because deleting it would also destroy other users’ replies and conversations that quote or depend on it. This content stays visible, but it is no longer linked to you: your name, username, avatar and email are gone from it permanently, so it can no longer be traced back to your identity.
This anonymised content is kept for as long as the Service operates.
If you want your posts removed as well, say so in your deletion email, or email us afterwards at contact@balkantruck.rs — we will remove them on request.
We may also retain a minimal record of the deletion itself, and any information we are required to keep by law, for as long as the law requires.
