Child Safety Standards

BalkanTruck (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the BalkanTruck mobile application (the “App”), an information and community platform for professional truck drivers in the Balkan region. This page sets out our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), as required by Google Play’s Child Safety Standards policy.

1. Zero tolerance

We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation of any kind on the Service. This includes, without limitation:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, including drawn, computer-generated, or AI-generated depictions
• Sexualisation of minors in text, images, or any other content
• Grooming, sextortion, solicitation of minors, or attempts to arrange offline contact with a minor for sexual purposes
• Trafficking of minors, or advertising, soliciting, or facilitating access to CSAE material

There is no context in which this content is permitted. An account found to be involved in CSAE is terminated permanently, without warning.

2. Minimum age

The App is intended for professional drivers and is not directed at children. Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Accounts we identify as belonging to a minor are removed.

3. Prevention

• Image screening. Every image uploaded to the App is scanned by an automated moderation service before it is stored, and is rejected if it is flagged for nudity, sexual content, or related categories. This applies to all uploads without exception, including images sent in private messages.
• Text filtering. Publicly postable content — forum posts, forum comments, and public chat channels — is checked against a maintained blocklist before it is published. Private one-to-one messages are not proactively scanned for text, consistent with their private nature; they are moderated reactively through the reporting process described below.
• No anonymous access. Posting requires a registered account with a verified email address.

4. Reporting to us

Any user can report content or another user from inside the App, without leaving it. A report option is available on every forum post, forum comment, chat message, and user profile. Users can also block another user directly, and can contact us in the App through Info → Contact support.

Reports can also be sent by email to contact@balkantruck.rs. Reports of suspected CSAE are prioritised above all other moderation work.

5. Our response

When we become aware of suspected CSAE, we:

1. Remove the content and preserve the associated records as evidence
2. Terminate the responsible account and block re-registration where we can
3. Report the matter to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via its CyberTipline where applicable, and to law enforcement in Serbia
4. Cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement investigating the matter

We do not require a court order to remove CSAE content or to report it.

6. Compliance with law

We comply with applicable laws on child sexual abuse and exploitation in the jurisdictions where the App is available, and with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards policy.

We may update these standards. The effective date above shows when this page was last revised.
